You can delete your account directly from within the Al-Hira Mosque app:

1. 1Open the Al-Hira Mosque app on your device.
2. 2Go to Settings / Profile.
3. 3Tap Account.
4. 4Tap Delete Account.
5. 5Confirm to permanently delete your account and its associated data.

This permanently deletes the account and all of its associated data.

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently erased:

• Account profile (name, email)
• App preferences and settings
• Saved and favourite items
• Notification tokens and push subscriptions
• Donation contact records not required for accounting
• Any analytics identifiers tied to your account

This data is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.

Certain records we are legally required to keep are retained separately from your app account and are not used to identify you in the app. These include:

• Gift Aid and financial/donation transaction records, retained for up to 7 years under UK HMRC and charity regulations.
• Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you, which may be retained indefinitely.

• Your account is deactivated immediately upon request.
• All data is permanently erased from live systems within 30 days.
• Data is removed from backups within 90 days.
